Soniqs is excited to announce the addition of Owen "Gunner" Monahan as the new head coach for its PUBG team. Gunner brings a wealth of coaching experience to the talented roster of Hunter "hwinn" Winn, Tristan "Shrimzy" Nowicki, James "TGLTN" Giezen, and Austin "M1ME" Scherff.

With his strong personality and strategic mindset, Gunner is expected to bring a new dimension to the team. Gunner served for four years in the United States Marine Corps as a 0331 Machine Gunner and completed three deployments, including a tour to Iraq and multiple countries as part of a MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit), as well as a deployment to Haiti in 2010 to provide humanitarian aid following the earthquake. After his service, he attended college and started his journey in gaming, beginning with streaming in 2013. He then began his PUBG career as a professional player for two years before transitioning into coaching.

With a strong background in the gaming industry, Gunner has had the privilege of coaching the same team throughout his career under various organizations such as Lazarus, TSM, and Luminosity Gaming. The team, under his leadership, has achieved numerous notable performances, including a 2nd place finish in the NPL phase 2, 1st place in PCS1, 1st place in the ESL Masters phase 1, and 4th place in the PGC 2021 under TSM. The organization is confident that Gunner will make valuable contributions to the team and help drive success for the organization.

Soniqs has a proven track record of success, having won six championships and earning the title of the winningest team in PUBG history. Gunner's appointment only strengthens their position as a top contender in the competitive scene.
